Cold laser therapy is low-intensity laser therapy that stimulates healing while using low levels of light.

The technique is called “cold” laser therapy because the low levels of light aren’t enough to heat your body’s tissue.
During this procedure, different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light are applied directly to a targeted area. The body tissue then absorbs the light. The red and near-infrared light cause a reaction, and the damaged cells respond with a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration.

Although you’ll feel the laser device touching your skin, the procedure is painless and noninvasive. There will be no sound and you’ll feel no vibration or heat. Each treatment typically takes only a few minutes.

Cold Laser can be used for:
-ligament and muscle sprains
-tendonitis
-bursitis
-tennis elbow
-neck pain
-lower back pain
-knee pain
-pain associated with muscle spasms
-It’s also used to help reduce swelling and promote healing of the joints and soft tissue.
Together with Acupuncture Cold Laser Therapy can help people with acute or chronic pain from conditions such as fibromyalgia, MS, carpal tunnel syndrome and Migraine.

An ancient healing practice, Sound bath has been used all over the world as a powerful healing therapy. It is a meditative practice involving the use of resonant instruments and vibrations. This creates a fascinating sound that fills the room and the body, aiming to help people relax and let go of stress, anxiety, or other worries and concerns.

How does sound affect the body?

A cranial nerve connects the eardrum to every organ in the human body (except the spleen) The sounds that is produced externally with instruments such as gong, singing bowls, chimes, sansula etc. can soothe the nervous system and harmonize cells and biological systems which may have been disrupted, blocked, or out of sync.

Our practitioner trained in sound bath techniques will use one or several instruments to create soothing, overlapping vibrations.

These vibrations may lead you deeper into a state of relaxation, shutting off your body’s fight-or-flight reflex.

It opens our consciousness to the areas we need to heal and bring health, harmony and vitality to our energy field. It works with the energy fields around the body and involves the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to the client to encourage emotional or physical health. Reiki does not originate from any specific religion or religious practice. However, it does aim to heal you spiritually as well as physically, mentally and emotionally.

Micro-needling is a very safe, natural, effective and holistic alternative to treat skin conditions. The results are long term and the recovery time is minimal.
This cost effective, non-invasive skin treatment targets a diverse range of skin concerns.

We use the most advanced MicroNeedling device available: the Dermapen 4, that can treat a wide variety of skin conditions.

The treatment begins with body Acupuncture to relax the mind, balance hormones, diffuse digestive discomfort and increase blood production and flow.

During the treatment, the DP4 microneedling device is gently glided over the skin while tiny punctures are created within the epidermis and dermis that encourage the skin’s own natural healing response, leading to the production of collagen and elastin.

Conditions effectively treated and managed by a DP4 Dermapen:
* Acne, Problematic Skin
* Rosacea
* Ultraviolet Damage, Hyper and Hypopigmentation
* Vitiligo
* Seborrhoea
* Milia
* Scarring
* Striae
* Alopecia

ADD ON: Neck Microneedling for additional $50 (please let your practitioner know if you want this ADD on), this add on is not eligible for insurance submission

Raissa is a currently completing her Registered Massage Therapy certification at Vancouver Career College. She is expected to graduate and complete her board exams in September 2023 to become a Registered Massage Therapist.

Raissa’s passion with massage stems out from her desire to help people overcome any discomfort and live a happy healthy life through the therapeutic effect that massage brings to an individual. She encourages a working-together dynamic with her patients to create treatment plans focusing on their goals to help them get to where they want to be. During her journey to become an RMT, she needed to take a hiatus from the program to support her pregnancy which gave her a first-hand view on what expectant mothers may experience while their body changes during the baby’s growth in the womb and after delivery. This made her decide to take specialized courses for pregnancy and Post-Partum massage in the future and incorporate in her practice.

She is fluent in both English and Tagalog and would eventually like to learn Spanish in the future. During her free time, she loves to go for some good conversation and listen to music over coffee (prefers mellow blend with a scrumptious pastry on the side) She also likes long drives, watching a good movie (a very avid Tolkien fan), shopping and spending time with her husband, daughter Savannah and cats: Midnight, Tala, and Luna.

Dr. Alex Dragan began her Naturopathic journey in Montreal while completing her undergraduate degree in Biology. It was there as a varsity athlete that she was exposed to the healing influence that her profession could have while recovering from various injuries incurred on the playing field. The philosophies of Naturopathic Medicine resonated and took hold: treat the whole person while establishing the root cause.

This fascination with the human body and its inherent healing powers inspired her to complete her studies at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC, one of only two such post graduate institutions in Canada. Dr. Dragan was bestowed the Award of Clinical Excellence in her graduating year, an honour given to the practitioner who best demonstrates exemplary clinical diagnostic skills. She was a representative for ProMedics, a Canadian leader in herbal supplements, and spent time as a youth leader in sport and in community groups.

When she is not treating patients or learning more about natural therapies, you can find her in the forest searching for herbs, playing soccer at the field or creating delicious plant based meals.

Dr. Dragan has a general practice where she treats whole family health as well as a strong passion for gut health, treating IBS, SIBO, IBD, Crohn’s, celiac and general GI disturbances (constipation, bloating).
